The Life Raft We Cannot See
How often do you get caught up in the 'how's of life? You know what you want and desire, you set your intention, and then you start trying to figure out just exactly how life is going to manifest to you those things you desire. Or even worse, you don't even bother contemplating the intention because you just can't see any possible way that it could come about.

In Loving Others We Love Ourselves
Everything we do is both the thank you and the prayer. The gratitude and the gift are one.
We long for true, soul-connected love and the love of a soulmate because what we truly long for is to remember and experience the true love of Source. In loving another, we are really loving our Selves, and God*. In cultivating a personal, intimate relationship with another person, we are really forming a relationship with God. Because that person is a manifestation of God, and in loving them fully and openly, we are really loving God. Our personal relationship with others and our personal relationship with God is one and the same thing.
We are driven to love others because love is our essential nature. We want to love that which we all are, we want to pour love and gratitude on our creative source, on our essential core being, and so we pour that into other beings because they are tangible representations of this essence, this creative love we all come from, all consist of, all feel such love and gratitude and pull towards. A true, connected, soulful relationship is a daily prayer, a commitment to love not just the physical manifestation we perceive as that person, but also the essence of God that is in them and ourselves and all of life and matter and everything in between. In loving another, we love God.
Our truest work, our purest work, our deepest calling, is to love. To love, as both verb and noun. We are called to the action of love, the demonstration of love, to loving every person and thing around us. And we are called to this expression because we are called to Love, to that truest essence from whence we came and from which we are made, of which we consist. We are called to Love (n) because that is what we are, and thus we are called to love (v) because that is the purest expression of what we are. And thus in loving, we give the gift of love not only to others but also to ourselves. Love, when given to others, fulfils our own desire for the experience of our truest essence of love as much as it fulfils that same desire in the receiver.
And thus the wisdom of these words, which recognise the only true purpose in life:
“The greatest thing
you’ll ever learn
is just to love
and be loved in return.”
*NB: I use the term 'God' for convenience - I do not mean it in a religious sense that many people understand it in. I use 'God' to mean that energy from which everything consists. Words such as Higher Source, Self, essence, Love and so forth are, to me, all synonyms for 'God'. Please substitute for yourself whatever you are comfortable with if this message resonates for you.

Mastering the Power of Now - Free Online Course
I received this e-mail recently and am compelled to share it, as I think it looks like it will be an amazing resource, and best of all, FREE! Bill Harris of the Centerpointe Institute has put together a free online course exploring the ideas of Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now, with interviews with some amazing teachers.
The course has only just started, the first interview being with Genpo Roshi, a Zen master, talking about getting into the state of being present, or in the Now, and about finding that balance between the Ego and the Non-Ego. It's all completely free, and you can still enrol, so I really encourage anyone interested in expanding their consciousness to take a look.

Life is supposed to be Fun!
As an example of Abraham's philosophy, here is one of my favourite
daily quotes that came through recently:

Life is supposed to be fun. You said, "I'll go forth and choose. I'll
look at the data, and I'll say, yes to this, and yes to this, and yes
to this, and I'll paint a picture of the things that I want, and I'll
vibrate about them, because that's what I'm giving my attention to.
And the Universe will respond to my vibration. And then I'll stand in
a new place where a whole new batch of yeses are available, and I'll
say yes to this, and yes to this, and yes to this." You did not say,
"I'll go forth and struggle into joy", because from your Nonphysical
Perspective you know it is vibrationally not possible. You cannot
struggle to joy. Struggle and joy are not on the same channel. You joy
your way to joy. You laugh your way to success. It is through your joy
that good things come.

Isn't this just the most amazing and liberating way of looking at life? You are where you are because of everything you have said "Yes!" to thus far in life. And now that you are there, you get to look around and keep saying "Yes!" to the things you like. And if there are some things you don't like, just say "Yes!" to something new. And maybe you will like that something new, but if you don't, just say "Yes!" to something else. Our current life is the direct result of our Yesses! To change anything, just say "Yes!" again to that which you would have.

You cannot struggle to joy. You joy your way to joy. It is through your joy that good things come.
So many people think that 'anything worth getting is hard to get' or variations on this theme. There's even an old latin motto: per aspera ad astra - "through struggle to the stars". I used to love this motto, I adopted it as my personal creed, as it seemed to exemplify my life story. No wonder the stars continued to be so far off! You cannot reach the stars by struggling - struggle only begets more struggle. You reach the stars by becoming light and free enough to float, to soar, to fly. Reaching the stars is easy - you will start to move in that direction as soon as you starting letting it be easy and not trying to make it so damn hard!
Life is about the journey, the adventure, the creation, the discovery - but most of all, life is about joy. "It is through your joy that good things come".
Life is supposed to be easy. Embrace it and float down this joyous stream with me.

I am on an amazing journey - a journey of discovery, of joy, of freedom and empowerment. A journey of clarity and alignment. I am on a spiritual journey to understand Who I Am and what this Life is all about. The more I learn and the more clarity I gain, the more I am lead to more and more information, more understanding, more clarity - and a deep sense of joy at the perfection of it all.
It is my intention to share this journey with any who desire it and who may possibly gain from my own experiences and discoveries.
